Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a politician, and a television host on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, and the co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would leave the show in the month of May 2021 in order to begin Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball is co-host of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on Fox News, CNN, Fox News, Fox News, Fox News, as well as programs like Real Time With Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball attributes her further interest in politics to her experience after becoming an expectant mother in the 2008 primary elections and watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She was able to see the effect it had on people in her home country and gained an appreciation for the global influence of US politics. She was a senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was chosen by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1st Congressional District in the 2010 elections. However, she was defeated by Rob Wittman. From June 2012 until July 2015, she hosted of The Cycle on MSNBC. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee that works on behalf of Democratic causes.
